Server rooms and data centres account for around 3% of the total national electricity consumption in Switzerland. In light of the significant potential for savings in this area, SwissEnergy launched a campaign to promote energy efficiency at data centres together with asut, the Swiss Telecommunications Association. The campaign is aimed at passing on knowledge and highlighting specific measures to bolster efficiency.

To handle media relations surrounding the launch of the ‘Less Electricity, More Efficiency in Server Rooms and Data Centres’ campaign, with the focus being on raising awareness of the campaign in the media and social media channels alike.
